How long does it take to cruise the Llangollen Canal?

Where can you take a boat ride across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct?
A boat trip on the Llangollen will appeal to almost any taste. If you like quaint, you will melt at the sight of the picturesque town for which the canal is named. If you like thrills, you can look out over the edge of your boat as you cross the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
We allow dogs on our horse drawn boat trips and on our self-drive day hire boats but not on the motorised aqueduct cruise.
Is there parking at Llangollen Wharf?
Lunches and cream teas can be pre-ordered for the aqueduct trips. There is no car parking at the Wharf. Visitors are recommended to park in one of the Town Centre car parks and walk to the Wharf.

Can you walk over the aqueduct at Llangollen?

Is parking free at University Hospital of Wales?

Castell Dinas Brân is found to the north of Llangollen off Wern Road. On-road car parking is possible with care. The walk to the summit is sign-posted but note it is relatively steep and strong footwear is recommended.
Do you have to pre book parking at Llanberis?
There is also ample paid parking in Llanberis which does not require pre-booking. The only parking near Snowdon which does require pre-booking is the Pen-y-Pass car park which is not in Llanberis where our station is located.
